Tea Processing Unit

The unit was established during the year 2007 having capacity of manufacturing 50,000 kg tea. The funds were provided by ICAR under NATP project submitted by department of tea Husbandry and Technology.

Distinct features of Kangra Certified Organic Dhauladhar Him Palam Tea

  • This is the R&D produce of  CSKHPKV Palampur.  

  • Has stylish appearance, good liquor and distinctive flavour.

  • Has higher antioxidant potential.

  • This tea has higher anti-oxidant like epigallocatechin (EGC) and epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) which are predominant catechins as compared to other tea growing regions of India.

  • This tea is free from agro-chemical residues.
